Writing under the name Diane Arrelle, Dina A. Leacock has sold more than 100 short stories to magazines and books including the Barnes and Nobles anthology Crafty Cat Crimes, Nocturnal Ooze, The Tampa Tribune Fiction Quarterly, Oui, Short Story Digest and Blue Murder and Twisted Cat Tales. Her collection of stories, Just A Drop In The Cup, was release from darker Intentions Press in November 2007.
 
Dina A. Leacock wrote a humorous, human interest column for the Trend/Journal Newspaper Group in Southern New Jersey for 9 years. She has also published personal essays in regional and national publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine, Chicago Parent and First for Women. She had a regular column on writing the short story in Just Write Magazine.
 
She is one of the original founding members as well as the second president of the Garden State Horror Writers and is also the past president of the Philadelphia Writers’ Conference.

To support her writing habit, Dina is currently the director of a municipal senior citizen activities center and lives on the edge of the Pine Barrens (home of the Jersey Devil) in Southern New Jersey with her husband, two sons and cat. She has held a wide variety of jobs including Elementary School Teacher, Nursery School Teacher, School Bus Driver, Waitress, Sales Clerk in many defunct department stores, Mystery Shopper, Newspaper Correspondent, Tutor, Freelance Writer, Senior Citizen Center Director and she was also that person who stood around in a department store burning vanilla tinged milk and cooking tasteless crepes to sell nonstick pots and pans.
